Small Groups
Consider joining a small group at Peace - it's an awesome opportunity to get to know your fellow Peace members as well as grow closer to God!
What is a small group?
A relationship-based group of 8 to 12 people where you can connect with other members, the church, and with God in a variety of ways. They are where heart to heart ministry take place. Small groups are an ideal setting for growing servant disciples. The purpose of small groups is to bring people together with a common interest. The facilitator(s) will determine the first meeting and then it will be up each group to determine actual times and dates they will meet.
How do I sign up for current small groups?
Contact Denise Thoen at 952-942-5936 and we will get you in touch with the leader for each group.

Tuesday Quilters
Join the Tuesday Quilters as they begin meeting every week from September-May from 9:30am to noon in the Fireside Room. They need sewers, ironers, pin-ers, knot tie-ers, and anyone who loves to chat. Their quilts are donated to a variety of charities. In 2010, we made 41 quilts!. Fifteen of those were given to the baptized. Other quilts went to Hope Presbyterian Church, Cornerstone, and to the children's homes sponsored by Peace House Foundation in Tanzania. Call Denise Thoen at 952-942-5936 with any questions.

Peace Garden Club
The "Peace Garden Club" is a group of members formed to make Peace a more beautiful and inviting place to grow in faith. We contribute our time, muscle, resources, perennials, and our love of gardening and landscaping. We don't typically "meet" as a group, but come together 3-4 times a year to share ideas and work on projects.
Last spring, "Peace Garden Club" planted flowers in the front beds. We shared perennials to beautify the walk to Peace House from our own gardens. We created a new lily and hosta garden. We donated and planted new shrubs along the fence in front of the playground. "Peace Garden Club" this past fall added more perennials and put in over a hundred spring bulbs.
Your hands and creative ideas and plant donations are welcome!
