God’s Work. Our Hands. Following are ways that you can serve the Lord and our community:

Minnesota FoodShare Campaign

Sunday, February 18 – Sunday, April 1

The most sought after item at VEAP continues to be laundry detergent; there is never enough to meet the demand. Last year, as we delivered our offering of 768 pounds of laundry detergent to VEAP, shoppers in the parking lot hurried back in to get a precious bottle of detergent…something that wasn’t on the shelf before we appeared. With a Peace sticker on each bottle, we even got a thank you note from a very grateful shopper; we made a difference for that family.

Our campaign this year runs from Sunday February 18th, through Easter morning, April 1st. In addition to laundry detergent, we will also collect money that will be used to buy food. VEAP can buy food at a discount, getting 7 to 10 times the amount of food that we can buy with our dollars.

So let’s see what we can do this year! Our goal is 1,000 pounds of laundry detergent and at least $2,000 for food.

The Quilters are in need of fabric donations (100% cotton fabric) and all-purpose thread in any color to help continue this ministry.

You may bring your donation on Tuesday morning between 9:30am-12:00pm or on Sunday and place in the staff office area.
