Peace House

Peace House Youth Center is a special ministry of Peace Lutheran Church. All youth entering fourth through eighth grade are invited to come and join the fun.

Our program is Christ-centered, fun, structured, supervised, and safe. It’s provided for the youth of Peace Lutheran, their friends, and kids in the neighborhood.

Our Mission: To reach out and empower the youth in our community by creating a supportive, Christian environment which promotes healthy values as youth grow in fellowship with one another.

Peace House will open June 14 and run through August 12.

Activities:

Recreation room with air hockey, pool table, Foos ball, ping pong, and other games
Snack bar
Outdoor games
Crafts
Cooking activities
Lounge room for board games
Sony Playstation 2
Field trips and service projects

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday - 12:30-5:30pm.

Rates:

Daily rate of $2 per child

Additional Costs:

Spending money can be put into separate accounts for each child to be spent at the Snack Bar
Some outings are free and others will range from $5 to $10 per person. Notification will be given.

Registration:

You can register by filling out the “Youth Permission” and “Health History” forms located at the information booth of the church and at Peace House. You may also download the form here.

Our trained and competent staff and volunteers bring experience, compassion, organization, ideas, and a heart for young people to the program. Jenifer Brolin, our Children’s Ministry Coordinator and Christopher Richmann will oversee day-to-day activities at the Peace House this summer. Also, a gifted group of high school staff from Peace Lutheran serve as leaders and mentors.
