Peace House Summer Activities "Summer of Awesomeness!

Peace House has a new program for Summer 2010! Due to changes in congregational demographics, Peace House will have a brand new approach to summer fun, activities and service. Plan on participating in these great events:

Wednesday Evening High School Gatherings

What: Students entering 10th grade-recently graduated join us for weekly Wednesday gatherings of fun, food, entertainment, outings, songs and devotions.
When: Every Wednesday at 6:30pm, June 16-August 25.
Where: Meet at the Peace House, we will use church van/carpool for outings.

Sunday Movie Nights

What: Students entering 8th grade-recently graduated join us for weekly Sunday night movies! We will enjoy drive-in style movies under the stars, complete with snacks and drinks.
When: Every Sunday at 6:30pm, June 20-August 29.
Where: Meet at Peace House. Movies will be projected outside if weather permits, or inside is weather does not permit. Sunday, July 25- Peace House will be thinking fall tonight as we chose between “The Blind Side” or “The Benchwarmers.”

Activities:

Recreation room with air hockey, pool table, Foos ball, ping pong, and other games
Snack bar
Outdoor games
Crafts
Cooking activities
Lounge room for board games
Sony Playstation 2
Field trips and service projects

Additional Costs:

Spending money can be put into separate accounts for each child to be spent at the Snack Bar.
