1978:      Formation of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, a congregation of the Lutheran Church in America (LCA). Congregation meets at the Holiday Inn.

1980:      Peace completes the church building at 8600 East Bush Lake Road

1988:      Peace and the LCA join the American Lutheran Church (ALC) and the Association of Evangelical Lutheran Church (AELC) to form the 5.1 million member church, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).

1989:      Church expansion to add new sanctuary is completed

1997:       Peace purchases the duplex, Peace House, on the adjacent property. It is used for Sunday School, Confirmation and meeting space and for the Peace House summer program.

2000-05: Through Mission Founders, Peace supports a new congregation in Andover: New Life Lutheran Church

2000:       Begins working with contextual education students

2001:        Youth Mission trips are added to our summer offerings for youth

2003:       Celebrate the 25th anniversary of Peace

2005:       Peace adds the Intergenerational Choir

2008:       Mission Project—Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Jerusalem

Mission Project—Queen Louise Home for Children, St. Croix, USVI

2009:      Hired full-time Youth Director and hired Wee Singer (2-5 year olds) Choir Director

2013:       Celebrate the 35th anniversary of Peace

2014:       Youth Mission Trip–Blackfeet Indian Reservation, Whitefish, Montana

2015:        Youth Mission Trip—Queen Louise Home for Children, St. Croix, USVI
