Mike Lindberg
President

mlindberg@johnsonlindberg.com

lingbergMike and his family have been members of Peace for 22 years. He previously served on the council in the late 1980s. Mike feels our church members are mostly thoughtful and friendly.  In light of the tumultuous periods of the past few years, that is high praise! He and his wife Stephanie and have been married for 30 years and have two sons, both confirmed at Peace.  Peter graduated from St. Olaf College and attends William Mitchell College of Law.  Reid is a junior at the Conservatory of Music at Oberlin College in Ohio. Mike grew up in Wahpeton, N.D., and graduated from Carleton College and the University of Minnesota Law School.  He has been practicing in aviation, products liability, construction, and insurance litigation for 32 years as a managing partner with Johnson & Lindberg, P.A.

Mike and his family spend much of their summers at their cabin. When asked to provide an interesting fact about himself, Mike replied, ""Interesting" and middle-aged lawyer are mutually exclusive!"

Kim Myhre
j_myhre@msn.com

MyhreKim was born and raised in Warren, MN.  She graduated from the University of North Dakota with a degree in Occupational Therapy.  Kim has  worked at Children's Hospitals and Clinics, Minneapolis or f24 years, primarily in the Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery and Infant Care Center. She has been married to Justin for 24 years.  They have 3 children,  Megan, Tanner, and Connor . We have been members of Peace since 2001.  We had previously been members of a church in Richfield, but when Megan was to start  confirmation we thought it was important for her to go to confirmation with kids she went to school with.  After lots of church visits we decided that Peace fit our needs best and it is a decision that we are very happy with. It is so exciting to be in a congregation where the youth are respected and their input is sought out in many areas.

Over the past few years I have gotten involved in a variety of activities at Peace (gardening small group, scrapbooking small group, IG choir, confirmation leader.  Peace is a wonderful congregation and there are so many growth possibilities that I feel it is an exciting place to be. .

Leslie Pratt

PrattLeslie and her husband, Marc Hanson, have been members of Peace for 21 years. Both are “old” Badgers, having met as undergrads at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where Leslie also attended Medical School.  She is a physician with Park Nicollet Medical Center and Methodist Hospital (since 1981) where she specializes in high risk Obstetrics (Perinatology). Leslie and Marc have two children, Mike (age 25) who now lives in Madison with his wife, Sarah, and Laura (age 21) who is a senior at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN.  They also have a dog and cat to keep them busy now that they are “empty nesters”.Leslie enjoys outdoor activities in all seasons - hiking, biking, gardening, kayaking, and skiing.  Six years ago when Mike was in the University of Minnesota Gopher marching band, Leslie was inspired to dust off her flute and join a community band. She continues to try improving her musical abilities with lessons at MacPhail.

She has found Peace to be a welcoming, warm community of people who are genuine in their love of Christ and in their desire to help others in His name.
