Ann and Ken and family have been members of Peace since 2007. They were drawn to Peace by a community outreach flyer calling them to serve those in need - and have stayed because they were welcomed with open arms as a member of the Peace family. Ann has served as the chair of the call committee, sings in the IG choir and has planned and participated in many fellowship activities at Peace. Ann is an IT professional providing business consulting services in application development and change management. Ann enjoys time with family, live musical theater and dance.

Bob was born and raised in Newton, Iowa, 30 miles east of Des Moines. He started college at Iowa State University and transferred to Gustavus Adolphus, graduating with a degree in business administration. During the summers from high school through college he worked at Lutheran Lakeside Camp in Okoboji. Bob worked maintenance, was a counselor, water front director and ended up as the program director. After college he worked for several national mall developers managing enclosed regional malls. One of the malls was the Columbia Mall in Grand Forks, ND. Bob met his wife, Colleen, in Grand Forks. They relocated to the Twin Cities and landed in Bloomington in 1988. They have two daughters.Katie and Emily.

"Over the years we have been involved in the nursery, and have enjoyed teaching Sunday school and Bible School. I was a confirmation small group leader and a chaperone on a Rosebud mission trip. With my kids not in Sunday school any longer, I am really looking forward to being on Council as it gives me another way to be involved at Peace. I’m looking forward to this opportunity to be of service and to get to know more of our members. "

Annette, her husband Steve and two children, Bryce and Brynn have been members of Peace Lutheran Church for over 13 years.Annette grew up in Hector MN and was brought up in a Lutheran Church and Covenant Church, and went to two Sunday services and two Sunday schools every week! She considers growing up in a small rural community as a gift and loved the opportunities she had to be involved in the community, both at church and school. Music has always been an important part of her life. Growing up in small churches she had the opportunity to sing and learn to sing parts with a variety of people; that is where the foundation for singing parts came from. She now shares her musical skills at Peace by directing the Inter generational choir. She also has the opportunity to spend time around music at Jefferson since both Bryce and Brynn are in show choir! Annette is an Interior Design Professional and is currently consulting and will begin teaching a new Business Design Professional Certificate/ mini MBA program at University St. Thomas starting in March.

Melissa has been a member of Peace for 3 years. She and her husband, Randy, were married at Peace in September of 2007. She is helping Randy raise his 2 children, Josh 14, and Marissa 11. Melissa has been HR Manager for Delphax Technologies, Inc. in West Bloomington for the last 3 years. Prior to that, she was an HR Generalist for 10 + years, both in Phoenix, AZ and the Minneapolis area.

She has a Masters in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix, and attended Augsburg College for two years before transferring to California Lutheran University to complete a Bachelors degree in Psychology there. Her favorite things to do are making pottery, being active in politics, cooking, reading, traveling and trying new restaurants. She has been serving on the HR committee at Peace since 2007.

Inga and her family became members of Peace Lutheran in 2008. They were drawn to Peace because of its warm and open congregation and they found affinity in their common love for and desire to serve God. She currently serves on the Service and Mission Committee. Her family consists of her husband, Joost, and two children, Caspar (7) and Marta (6). Inga’s sister, Daina, her husband, Dimitri, and son, Teo, are also members of Peace. Inga and family live in Eden Prairie’s Preserve Association and she serves as a Director on the neighborhood’s board. Inga works at UnitedHealth Group in Edina, MN as Program Director. She holds a BA from Gustavus and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. In her spare time, Inga enjoys traveling, reading both fiction and non-fiction and spending time with family and friends. She’s recently gotten back into running and is also learning how to downhill ski. As a member of the council, Inga hopes to make a positive impact for Peace and to serve its congregation and greater constituents.

Deb is a Human Resources professional who worked in the airline industry (NWA/Delta/Compass) for 27 years before joining UnitedHealth Group in August 2011. Deb and her husband, Gene, have been members of Peace Lutheran for 22 years along with their two sons, Spencer (22) & Andrew (17). While a member of Peace, Deb has served on the HR Committee and the Call Committee. Deb enjoys spending time with her family traveling and attending MN Gopher football games.

BethLee Beth graduated from Concordia University in St. Paul with a BA Degree in 1988 and from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire with a Masters of Environmental and Public Health Degree in 1990. Beth worked as an environmental scientist for Barr Engineering Company until 2001 when she left her career to become a stay-at-home mother.
Beth and John have four children, Jack (10), Amy (13), Rachel (15) and Sam (17). The Lees have attended Peace since 2002 and officially transferred membership in 2006. Beth has served on the Children and Youth committee as well as the Relational Ministries Committee. She and John work with the confirmation kids to prepare Wednesday evening meals.

Dave is a Health Actuary who has worked for Deloitte Consulting for over 17 years. Dave and his wife Denise have 2 sons who both are students at Jefferson High School: Reese, 17, is a junior and Riley, 14, is a freshman. Dave and Denise have been members Peace since 1994, where Dave has served on the audit committee for the past 3 years. In his spare time, Dave has been involved with youth sports in Bloomington, coaching and serving on several boards, as well as being an avid exerciser.
