The work of Peace Church is carried out through various ministry teams. The ministry teams and their functions are outlined below. We are always looking for new ministry team members, the more people, the more ideas! The ministry teams meet once a month on the last Tuesday of each month. All are welcome! The Service Ministry Team (view charter) assists the congregation in serving in response to God’s love to meet human needs, caring for the sick and the aged, advocating dignity and justice for all people, working for peace and reconciliation among the nations, and standing for the poor and powerless, and committing itself to their needs. The Service Ministry Team is also responsible for deciding, supporting, and promoting the various mission activities of the congregation.

The Worship and Music Ministry Team (view charter) is responsible for the congregational functions of worship and music. If you would like to contact the Worship and Ministry Team you can email them at worshipandmusic@peacebloomington.org

The Children/Youth Ministry Team (view charter) participates in the development, planning, and evaluation of children and youth programs, including educational ministries (Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and Confirmation).

The Relational Ministries/Fellowship Ministry Team (view charter) assists in: the forming and maintenance of small groups, ministry to visitors, welcoming of new members and assisting them into the life of the congregation, and organizing the ongoing pastoral care and mutual support of members.

The Adult Ministries Ministry Team (view charter) concerns itself with ministry (educational, spiritual, social, service) to adults.

The Human Resources Committee assists and evaluates the employees of the congregation in performing their duties.

The Stewardship Ministry Team works on an ongoing/annual stewardship effort and informing members of the ongoing ministry of the church and inviting them to participate in that ministry.
