Peace at Home

Over the next few months we will begin a new initiative called “Peace at Home.” Peace at Home is a series of grade-specific parent and student get-togethers that will run through the spring and summer months at members’ homes for the purpose of strengthening the student ministries community at Peace. We are in the process of finalizing dates for March, so keep your eyes open for an invitation from a fellow Peace member with kids the same age as yours! If this sounds like something that you may want to host in the future, please contact Jason Kramme for more information. Tentative schedule:

• Friday, Feburary 17-3rd-6th graders-Lee home
• Friday, March 16-8th graders-Noltner home
• Friday, March 23-10th graders-Smith home
• Saturday, March 24-11th graders-Thoen home

Fresh Air
Fresh Air is a group for moms that will meet once a month opposite of our group for dads and kids. The goal of Fresh Air is to afford moms an opportunity to connect with other members of Peace who are traveling through a similar stage of life. At Fresh Air, you can expect at least one facilitated discussion topic, space to connect with other moms, and a group of people who will pray for you.

BYOB
Bring Your Own Baby is a group for dads that will meet once a month opposite of our group for moms. The primary goal of BYOB is to create at Peace a culture of high quality fathering. In other words, we want to help the dads of Peace be awesome dads. We’ll do that by meeting together to talk about our roles as fathers, playing with our kids, and helping each other trouble shoot specific issues of parenting.
